Formerly known as the CMO Pencil, The One Show Creative Marketer special award aim to honour the senior brand leader — such as a CMO or other top marketing executive — behind award-winning work that elevated creativity as a core priority for the brand, says the awards.

The award aims to recognise the confidence and bravery of an individual who champions bold ideas from concept through execution to measurable success, adds the awards.

This year's One Show Creative Marketer jury includes:

  • Chris Bellinger: CCO of PepsiCo Foods US, Plano.
  • Soyoung Kang: President of eos Products, New York.
  • Seth Matlins: Founder of The Wisdomous Company, Los Angeles.
  • Arianna Orpello Lewko: CMO of Geico, Washington.
  • Thomas Ranese: CMO of Intuit, San Francisco.
  • Geoff Seeley: CMO of PayPal, San Francisco.
  • Jess Vultaggio: VP Creative, Capabilities and Innovation of Kraft Heinz, Chicago.
  • Iwo Zakowski: Head of Live Games Marketing at Supercell, Helsinki.

In 2025, The One Show opened up the award to the entire industry as an enterable category. Eligibility was previously restricted to a limited number of the highest-scoring entries culled from the year's Best of Discipline and multiple Gold Pencil winners.  The change gives agencies the opportunity to enter work that spotlights the critical role played by their client partner, says the awards.

Entries to The One Show 2026 can be submitted now, with fees increasing after each deadline period. The extended deadline is Friday, 6 February, and final deadline is Friday, 20 February.

The complete One Show 2026 jury, made up of more than 280 creative leaders from 46 countries, can be viewed here.
