The festival will be celebrating 12 years of global superstar performances, and dancefloor memories, says the station.

For over a decade, Ultra South Africa has aimed to unite music lovers from across the country for larger-than-life experiences, bringing some of the world's most celebrated electronic music artists to local stages and creating moments that live on long after the final beat drops, adds the station.

As the festival prepares to mark its 12th anniversary, 5FM is locked and loaded to "ampli5" the excitement — connecting listeners directly to the action through exclusive content, super cool competitions and once-in-a-lifetime VIP experiences, says the station.

Ultra 2027 aims to be bigger, louder and unforgettable. Festivalgoers can expect audiovisual production, electronic music talent and immersive experiences, adds the station.

As the official radio partner, 5FM will be taking listeners inside the world of Ultra South Africa in the months leading up to the festival. From exclusive line-up reveals, social media competitions to show the station how "YOU AND YOUR CREW" Ultra, on-air giveaways, VIP upgrades and interactive surprises, to exclusive, behind the scenes artist scoops, the station will aim to deliver front-row access.

Tickets will be available through the Ultra website but the "5 nation" of listeners will have the opportunity to get their hands on premium experiences before anyone else, kicking off with an introductory "12 tickets to celebrate 12 years", says the station.

"At 5FM, we've always believed that our listeners don't just follow youth culture, they create it," says Masi Mdingane, Business Manager of 5FM and Good Hope FM. "The hottest parties in Mzansi are where the young movers and shakers of Mzansi are at and 5FM will always be right there partying it up with them."

"Ultra South Africa is one of the country's most iconic entertainment experiences, and partnering with the festival for its 12th anniversary feels as natural as killer dance moves are to a pumping beat," adds Mdingane. "All this at the very centre of South Africa's youth culture, music and entertainment landscape."

"Together, we're creating opportunities for our listeners to be part of something unforgettable, as we count down to the hottest dancefloors in Mzansi exploding with sound, colour and vibe," concludes Mdingane.
